Watched the Easter sunrise with these Easter geese on this pastel morning.
The good news is, I wasn’t the only crazy person out at 5:45am on Easter morning. The bad news is, I’m still crazy.
Do Extraordinary Things

Today was one of the most bizarre mornings I’ve ever seen. A recent thunderstorm left behind multiple layers of swirling, fast-moving clouds. The lowest clouds were moving very fast and glowed pink. The upper layer of clouds glowed blue. Sometimes the edges of on of the lower clouds would light up in a bright blue color, as if someone were shining a spotlight on it. I felt like I was looking at our own version of the northern lights. It was rather eerie at times, as if it were a scene from the movie Independence Day, and it seemed like something biblical could happen at any moment.

It was the warmest morning of the year so far, and it was the first time I went out with only a light jacket and no hat or gloves. Surprisingly, there were much less joggers than yesterday out along the waterfront. Yesterday morning was chilly, but sunny, while today was warm, but cloudy. I suppose the the overcast sky may have deterred people. But for me, this type of sky is always welcome, as the clouds add a certain aesthetic to the scene

There were a lot of runners out today. Most of them were wearing proper running attire, but one was wearing jeans, two coats, a hat, leather gloves, a bag and a camera hanging from his shoulder, and a tripod in his hand. That was me, as I ran the last quarter mile to get to this location as I saw the sun beginning to illuminate the clouds in quickly changing shades of orange, peach, and yellow.
