Today was one of the most bizarre mornings I’ve ever seen. A recent thunderstorm left behind multiple layers of swirling, fast-moving clouds. The lowest clouds were moving very fast and glowed pink. The upper layer of clouds glowed blue. Sometimes the edges of on of the lower clouds would light up in a bright blue color, as if someone were shining a spotlight on it. I felt like I was looking at our own version of the northern lights. It was rather eerie at times, as if it were a scene from the movie Independence Day, and it seemed like something biblical could happen at any moment.
