Early morning surf.
A lot of people consider Labor Day to be the end of summer, but for me the next month or so is the best time to be at the shore.

It was hazy yet colorful morning with a few clouds that turned pink for about a minute or so. When there have been any clouds for the past week they have been at the north end of the skyline, so I headed that way this morning just in case it happened again I would be in just the right spot. Luckily, I guessed right today.

A humid and hazy sunrise at the beach this morning. This giant cloud formation turned pink as the sun was coming up. I took a series of shots to try to get the reflection in the shallow water as the waves receded, and this one came out the best.
Sunday, May 31, 2015 (Day 151)
(Sunday, May 31st) Had an amazing morning up at the inlet. This has to be one of my all time favorite places to watch the sunrise. It took me a little while to get the camera settings and composition just the way I wanted them, but luckily everything was set just in time for this moment. A fraction of a second later, I was soaked. It was worth it.
