It was a strange morning. Cloudy and hazy, the tops of the taller buildings were obscured by the low cloud cover. The water appeared smooth like a piece of glass. A single opening slashed through the clouds and glowed pink for a few minutes in an otherwise gray sky.
Monday, July 6, 2015 (Day 187)
Hazy mornings have been mostly the norm ever since the temperature started warming up a couple of months ago. This has meant the colors in the sky have been somewhat less vibrant in general, but it has also added a certain degree of tranquility to the early mornings. Somehow, hazy mornings seem quieter. This bench seems like a good place to be still and take it all in.
