It was the warmest morning of the year so far, and it was the first time I went out with only a light jacket and no hat or gloves. Surprisingly, there were much less joggers than yesterday out along the waterfront. Yesterday morning was chilly, but sunny, while today was warm, but cloudy. I suppose the the overcast sky may have deterred people. But for me, this type of sky is always welcome, as the clouds add a certain aesthetic to the scene

Blue overtones resulting from an overcast sky give a visual representation of the frigid air. At 19 degrees, it’s the coldest morning of the year so far.
There’s something about gazebos that draw us to them. They have a certain inviting appeal that is difficult to resist. In the absence of a visible rising sun, this gazebo seemed the perfect subject for this morning’s photo.
