One last sunrise at the beach to close out the long weekend.
Sunday, May 24, 2015 (Day 144)
Spent this morning a little further inland at the mossy bank of the Manasquan River. The bright green moss blanketed everything on the shore like spider webs, providing some contrast to the streaks of pink clouds which hovered near the horizon.
This was not a quiet scene…dozens of birds were going wild all around me. Luckily, I had my sound recorder with me. More on that later….new project to be announced soon.

Friday, May 22, 2015 (Day 142)
If it is possible to experience both light and darkness at the same time, that’s what it seemed like this morning.
I was walking along the waterfront with the intention of going to a particular spot downtown. As I was walking, I came to this location and saw the interesting cloud formations. I paused for a moment and took a couple of images, thinking it would be good insurance just in case the clouds dissipated as I as the morning progressed. And I’m glad I did because those clouds continued to roll eastward away from the city and sink further and further out of sight. I only took two photos this morning and this was one of them.
