Ideas come to us with an impulse, with a flash of brilliance.
It’s no surprise that getting a new idea is often compared to turning on a lightbulb, or getting hit in the head. Ideas come about suddenly and swiftly.
But the strong feeling attached to an idea only lasts a short while. That’s why we have to take action quickly. If you wait too long, the idea will always remain, but your ability to capitalize on it will have faded away.

Find your place.
Everyone has their place, their unique talent or ability. Not everyone has found it yet, and those who have often don’t know what to do with it.
Look for sources of inspiration. That could be a role model, a piece of art, or a certain location, among other things.
Coming here to this little cove on this hazy purple morning definitely helped me feel inspired, as it always does. It is interesting that finding your place in the external world can help you find your place internally.
Everyone has a place. It’s up to you to find yours.

It may be Autumn in New York, but at nearly 60 degrees this morning it felt like we had a little taste of the Summer Wind.
