Even on an overcast morning like today, it’s easy to see why this lookout point at Stevens is one of the absolute best places to watch the sunrise in Hoboken.
The Stevens campus is perched up on the highest point in Hoboken, and has incredible views all around, with this one being at the pinnacle.
I struggled with deciding the top two spots on my countdown, and although I ranked it as number 2, this could arguably be the top spot, or at least tied for the top spot. The reason for my ranking this amazing lookout as number 2 was that for about three or four months of the year, the sun rises a bit too far north to make this an ideal viewing point. For that reason, I did not take any photos here all summer. But the other eight or nine months are so spectacular that they make up for it.
This truly is one of the best places to watch the sunrise, or just enjoy the view anytime, in Hoboken–or anywhere.
