Bright days ahead.
Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of people talking about new year’s resolutions. Here’s my advice on that: Instead of committing yourself to doing something for a whole year, give yourself something a little easier to digest.
When I started photographing the sunrise every morning, I originally told myself I would try it for 7 days, but I legitimately thought it would be a 30-day project. In the back of my head I thought there was a slight possibility I would do it for a full year, but I didn’t know how realistic that was. It wasn’t until I started to gain momentum that I started to believe it might really happen.
Now, looking back on the year which is now almost complete, this project had lead me to achievements I could have never imagined when I first started.
By the way, I have since learned that 90-day increments are suggested to be the most effective for planning ahead.
