It was a foggy morning, to the point where the city skyline was almost completely invisible.
I took a few shots of somewhat eerie scenes that accentuated the fog, and I was happy with them.
But then I started to see a few tiny breaks in the clouds overhead.
After more than 10 months of photographing the sunrise every day, I can usually sense when something incredible is going to happen, and this was one of those times.
So I waited a little while. And then it happened.
