It was another cold, windy, blue morning, but for a few minutes a muted pinkish tone struggled to make itself known in the clouds above the city skyline. The pink light was mostly suppressed by the heavy blue cloud cover and you can see the peak of it here.
There was a light drizzle which on a normal day would have been only a minor annoyance, but today it was amplified by the heavy winds which made it difficult to bear.
Fighting the wind and rain, I quickly realized that I was wearing too few layers for these conditions, and I only took a few photos before heading back home.
Each day is a learning experience which helps me be better prepared for the next.
