It is our second and final day away from home, and the scene outside revealed a cloudy blue morning at dawn. We don’t mind some clouds today because the weather was perfect for yesterday’s wedding.

The return of color.
For the past couple of months, the early morning colors about 20 minutes prior to sunrise have been almost nonexistent, giving way to a later burst of color a few minutes after sunrise.
If you been following me for a while, you know this was not a bad thing, but that I have to adjust my schedule a bit to get the most out of my shooting time. Plus, the earlier colors are generally more brilliant and surreal.
Gradually, over the past couple of weeks, the early colors have been cropping up again, a little more each day, and I think it is safe to say at this point they are back in full force.
