Splash. Even though it’s been cloudy all week, the sun has been making its appearance known for a few short seconds each morning.
I was up a little earlier than usual this morning, so I decided to take the 20-minute walk down to Pier A for this morning’s shot. Along my walk, I could see some color starting to break through. The intensity heightened just when I got to the pier. I knew I was only going to have one shot. I quickly set everything up, adjusted my camera settings, and pressed the shutter, just as the color was at its peak.
I took one more shot immediately after this one, but the colors had already started to fade. So I had walked 20 minutes for a shoot that lasted less than 30 seconds. I packed up and started the 20-minute walk home. Was it worth it? You be the judge.
