With the exception of a few faint lights, the city skyline was completely obscured by fog this morning. For the past three days, the fog has become more and more dense each day.
Today, the sound of fog horns in the distance could be heard every minute or so. Fish were jumping out of the water every couple of seconds. A number of fishermen were trying their luck with their poles leaning against the rail. This lone buoy, with its light blinking in the eerie blue haze, best conveyed the feeling of isolation and tranquility of the scene.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there–I hope you have a great day.
