This was the view from Elysian Park this morning. What strikes me about this image is the double sun stars, which you will see if you look closely. Sun stars are the result of photographing a bright, concentrated light using a small aperture setting (high f number). I have another photo taken just seconds before this one where there is only one sun star. It appears that that the photo you see here was taken at just the right time as the sunlight was split in half by the corner of a building, making it appear as two separate lights. Timing matters.
